Job Description
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, test, and integrate software systems supporting mission-critical aerospace applications including flight management, cockpit displays, and engine control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software using Java, Oracle, and web technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
- Perform system and integration testing independently
- Debug production issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain functional and technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews and best practices
- Support automation and scripting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as DO-200B
Technical Skills
- Core Java and basic Spring Boot
- Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL
- HTML, JSP, JavaScript, React JS, jQuery
- Web services and API testing
- SDLC and configuration management tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace, or MCA
- 0–1 years of software engineering experience
- Aerospace domain knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
